Cannot log in WoW? Is my Battlenet account hacked?

I got on my computer today and downloaded the new patch and now it won’t let me log in. I don’t know why this is happening i’ve restarted my computer run as admin turned off and on firewalls and all that good stuff but it still won’t let me. Now when I put my email address and password in I get a little panel that says “Success! You are connected!” but then about 20 seconds later another panel pops up that says I’ve been disconnected from the server. All the realms to choose from are in red, which I think means they are unavailable.

I’ve been looking for the solution on Internet. This is a hint from a WoW player:

“I tried logging in a few minutes ago and got the red servers. If you are having trouble since the new patch like me, I would suggest uninstalling your add ons and then re-downloading them because this was a problem. Recount has also been causing problems so I would get rid of recount for right now. If you are using a mac you might want to make sure the latest version of the OS is downloaded because that has been causing people problems because some of the older versions are no longer supported. Blizzard might just be having problems because the patch is part of an unfinished product. They’ve had issues like this in the past and usually get it resolved in a few weeks. (They seem to try to act like it’s not really happening though).”

I did as he said and now I can log in my account. Luckily it is not Battle.net Account Locked issue like before. Now I can freely enjoy Wow and look forward to the upcoming expansion set World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria. If you haven’t pre-order, you should do it now because this product is often out of stock on Amazon!

There is a solution from another player if you find the thing above does not work out.
“I had the same issue guys, for some reason I had to always go in to the wow folder in c: to load wow, the exe on my desktop was missing and could not download any updates.
what I did was go to account and download wow again, this wont reinstall the whole game just downloads the setup for the new patch that was put in place, took me about 3 minutes in total.
Yes, log in to battle net and download the client as you would when installing the game from scratch, it won’t download the entire game just the 22MB needed to run the game, will take you no more than 5 minutes”
