It's a while since my last blog post. I will try to post more regularly. In this blog post, I will share with you my story of how I make money online with my Moondancing skill on Fiverr.

Fiverr is a popular online marketplace where you can offer and buy various services starting from just 5 USD. You can find anything from graphic design, writing, video editing, voice over, and even dancing. Yes, you read that right. Dancing.

But with my gig on Fiverr, it is not just any regular dancing. It is dancing like Michael Jackson.

As I wrote above, in this blog post, I will share with you how I made 2000USD from working as a freelancer on Fiverr by offering my unique service: dancing professionally like Michael Jackson.

Well, let me tell you my story and you will find out.

How I Started My Freelancing Journey on Fiverr

I have been working as a freelancer on Fiverr since mid-2011. At that time, I was still working as a banker at Vietcombank and performing as a Moondancer.

Moondancing is a term I use to describe my style of dancing which is inspired by Michael Jackson.

One day, I stumbled upon Fiverr and decided to create an account and a gig. My first gig was very simple: “I will dance professionally like Michael Jackson for 5 USD”. I didn’t think much about it until I got my very first order just after a couple of days.

The first buyer ordered me to dance to his song in which I would hold a paper that write his website. He was amazed at my Moondancing skill and gave me a valuable advice: “You should add some variations to your gig title and description that speaks directly to customer’s need. For example: I will dance professionally like Michael Jackson to-promote-your-music.”

I followed his advice and created some other gigs that catered to different needs of customers, such as:

• I will wear Michael Jackson outfit and gig to make a birthday wish
• I will dance like Michael Jackson to promote your product/service
• I will do a fun testimonal as a Michael Jackson impersonator

The first payment that I received from Fiverr was 119USD. I received that money via Paypal. I was really amazed and happy. It was the first time I made money online. And from that small gig on Fiverr, I was introduced to the world of make money online, online marketing, etc.

You might think that 119USD is not much, but for me it was a huge milestone. It proved to me that people can actually make money online by doing what they love. And what I love is dancing like Michael Jackson.

How I Found and Attracted Clients on Fiverr?

To promote my gigs, I used various channels and strategies. First of all, I bought a domain tumichael.com and started writing blog posts about my journey in English. I also uploaded many dance videos on my Youtube channel.

Secondly, I participated in Fiverr forums and other freelancer, marketers communities to introduce my gig. I think my gig is unique enough to catch attention so clients’ orders kept rolling in.

Thirdly, I delivered quality work on time and communicated well with my clients. I always tried to exceed their expectations and make them happy. As a result, I got many positive reviews and referrals from my clients.

But how did I get people to pay me for dancing like Michael Jackson? What was the value that I provided to them?

Well, it turns out that there are many people who want to have some fun and entertainment in their lives. Some of them want to surprise their friends or family with a personalized birthday wish from a Michael Jackson impersonator. Some of them want to promote their music or product with a catchy dance video. And some of them just want to see me dance like Michael Jackson because they are fans of him or me.

Working as a freelancer on Fiverr is not always easy and smooth. There are some challenges that you need to overcome, such as:

• Dealing with difficult clients who are demanding, rude, or dishonest
• Managing multiple projects and deadlines
• Maintaining a work-life balance

However, there are also many benefits that make freelancing on Fiverr worth it, such as:

• Having flexible hours and location
• Earning extra income
• Learning new skills and expanding your network

But the most important benefit for me is having fun and enjoying what I do. Dancing like Michael Jackson is my passion and my joy. And being able to share it with the world and make people happy is priceless.

3. Connect what you do best to clients’ benefits. Tailor your gig title and description to what your clients want and need. For example, if they want to promote their music, offer them a gig that showcases your dancing skill to their music.
